DHAKA, Aug 31, 2024 (BSS) - Speakers at a discussion today called for establishing discrimination free country by ensuring good governance in every sphere of the society.
"People should extend their support to the interim government for ensuring good governance in every sector", they said.
The speakers were addressing a discussion at Dhaka Reporters Unity (DRU) this evening, marking the 4th founding anniversary of 'Bangladesh Jubo Odhikar Parishad'.
In the meeting, Bangladesh Jubo Odhikar Parishad discussed a 'Seven-point proposal of youth' which includes recognition of employment as a fundamental right in the constitution, formulation of demand-based and work-oriented education system, ensuring jobs without any application fee and age limit, creation of training centers for youth at local level under government management, ensuring hundred percent employment for people with disabilities and providing international quality training under government management for export of manpower abroad.
Former Ducsu vice-president and Bangladesh Gono Odhikar Parishad president Nurul Haque Nur was present as the chief guest while Bangladesh Jubo Odhikar Parishad president Manjur Morshed Mamun presided over the meeting. Jubo Odhikar Parishad general secretary Nadeem Hasan conducted the event.
