DHAKA, Sept 1, 2024 (BSS)- Advisor of the interim government on science and technology affairs Dr Saleh Uddin Ahmed today urged the government officials to extend their all out support to the interim government.

“We are calling you to support the government as it is suitable time to work something for the welfare of the nation”, he said.

The advisor made this call while exchanging views with the officials of the ministry at the Bangladesh secretariat here this morning.

Dr Saleh Uddin said suitable working environment is being created at all level of the administration, creating scope for honest and competent civil servants to serve the nation to take the country to a better position.

Noting that the present interim government is working to protect the people from all sorts of deprivation, Dr Saleh Uddin also in charge of the ministry of finance and commerce said, it’s high time to work for the country. 
“You please help the government to do something better for the nation”, he said.

Stressing importance on enhancing the application of science and research, the advisor said impact of the activities of the science and technology ministry should be transcended at all level of the society.

Senior secretary of the ministry M Mokabbir Hossain gave a presentation on the on-going development activities of the ministry.
