DHAKA, Sept 2, 2024 (BSS) – Jatiya Party Chairman Golam Mohammad Quader (GM Quader) today said the United Kingdom (UK) is a tested friend of Bangladesh.

“The UK will stay besides Bangladesh like the previous time …UK is our tested friend”, said Quader when he made a courtesy call on British High Commissioner to Bangladesh Sarah Cooke at her Baridhara residence here this morning, a JP press release said.

 The JP leader and the envoy also discussed the present political situation of Bangladesh during the meeting.  

Before the meeting, Sarah Cooke welcomed the JP Chairman when he reached at the  envoy’s Baridhara residence.
