DHAKA, Oct 3, 2021 (BSS) - Dr Kazi Afroza Jahanara, a retired professor of Dhaka University's Institute of Education and Research, passed away at her house in capital's Dhanmondi area today.

  She was 68.

  "My mother breathed her last around 4.30pm after suffering from fever, cold and shortness of breath for days," her son Abdullah Malik told BSS tonight.

  Her Namaz-e-janaza was held at Iraki field in capital's Azimpur area around 10pm. Later, she was buried at Azimpur graveyard.

  Dr Kazi Afroza is survived a son, two daughters, friends, relatives and a host of admirers.
