DHAKA, Sept 2, 2024 (BSS) - Education Adviser Wahiduddin Mahmud today called for extending mutual cooperation in the field of education between Bangladesh and China as Chinese Ambassador to Bangladesh Yao Wen paid a courtesy call on him at the latter's Secretariat office here.

"Mutual cooperation on education should be extended," he said welcoming the Chinese proposal to improve the standard of technical education through "Luban Workshop."

The adviser also highly praised the Chinese education system and its universities. 
   
The Chinese envoy stressed the need for reforming the education system of both Bangladesh and China for flourishing their talents. 

"In this connection, Bangladesh and China can work together," he opined.
 
Yao Wen has sought support from Bangladesh in holding higher education fair in Bangladesh in October next with participation of the Chinese universities.
