DHAKA, Sept 03, 2024 (BSS) – Director General (DG) of Mass Communication Department Md Nizamul Kabir has been made the Principal Information Officer (PIO) of Press Information Department (PID).

A notification signed by Deputy Secretary of Information and Broadcasting Ministry Md Azizul Islam was issued in this regard today.

Besides, Director General of Department of Films & Publications Akhtar Hossain has been transferred as Director General of Mass Communication Department.

In the same notification, Press Institute Bangladesh (PIB) Director and Director General (Additional Charge) Abul Kalam Mohammad Shamsuddin has been transferred as Director General of the Department of Films & Publications.

The orders will be effective immediately for public interest, the notification added.
