RAJSHAHI, Sept 5, 2024 (BSS) - A case has been filed against 441 people, including former Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, former minister for Road Transport and Bridges Obaidul Quader and former Home Minister Asaduzzaman Khan Kamal, over the death of one Mazir Uddin in 2015.
 
Mazir's wife Masufa Begum, a resident of Maria village under Charghat upazila in the district, filed the case with Puthia police station last night.

According to the case statement, a group of miscreants equipped with firearms and lethal weapons, carried out an attack on a programme titled, "Killing Day of Constitution and Democracy" organised by 20-party alliance at Puthia on January 5, 2015, leaving Mazir Uddin dead on the spot.

Kabir Hossain, officer-in-charge of Puthia police station, said they would take legal action in this regard.
