KHAGRACHHARI, Sept, 7, 2024 (BSS) - A total of 950 flood victim families of Sadar upazila here got relief goods from the district unit of Bangladesh Red Crescent Society of the district today.

Khagrachhari Zone Commander Lt Col Abul Hasnat Jewel handed over the relief goods including rice, pulses, oil, salt and sugar among the flood-affected people of Sadar upazila as the chief guest this morning.

The relief distribution function was held on the premise of Sadar Upazila Parishad.

Sadar upazila Zone Captain Ijaz Ahmed Sajin, Advocate Jasim Uddin Majumder, Senior Journalist Tarun Bhattacharya, Khagrachhari Red Crescent Unit Vice-Chairman S. Anant Bikas Tripura, its Secretary Md. Saifullah, Member Dhiman Khisa and Unit Officer Abdul Gani, among others, were present.
