DHAKA, Sept 10, 2024 (BSS) - The government has appointed new deputy commissioners ( DCs) to 35 districts.

The appointments were made in separate notifications issued by the Ministry of Public Administration.

Dr Monowar Hossain Molla, deputy secretary of the Finance Division, has been appointed as DC of Manikganj; Md Sabet Ali, deputy secretary of Cabinet Division has been assigned to Tangail; Mohammad Monir Hossain Haowlader, deputy secretary of the Commerce Ministry, to Sirajganj; Mostaq Ahmed, deputy secretary of Cabinet Division to Satkhira, Ashrafur Rahman, deputy secretary of the Commerce Ministry to Jhalakathi; Mohammad Asharaful Alam Khan, deputy secretary of Primary and Mass Education Ministry to Pirojpur, Mohammad Jahirul Islam, deputy secretary of Civil Aviation and Tourism Ministry to Chuadanga; Banani Biswas, deputy secretary of Internal Resource Division to Nethrakona; Monowara Begum, deputy director of RPATC to Rajbari.
