DHAKA, Sept 10, 2024 (BSS) – The Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) has transferred 37 police officers, including four joint commissioners.

Separate office orders, signed by DMP commissioner Md Mainul Hasan, were issued in this regard on Monday evening.

The others include 12 deputy commissioners of police, 11 additional deputy commissioners of police and 10 assistant commissioners of police.

Of the four joint commissioners, Khandaker Faridul Islam has been transferred from Traffic South to Public Order Management (POM), Hamida Perven from Protection and Diplomatic Security Division to the DMP Headquarters, Mohammad Quamruzzaman to the Traffic Division South and Mohammad Shahidullah to Diplomatic Security Division.

Another notification has also been issued transferring 12 deputy commissioners to different stations under the DMP while 11 additional commissioners to the new positions.

Besides, 10 assistant commissioners were transferred to new stations under the DMP.
