Azam, Bir Protik today, on behalf of Chief Adviser Professor Dr Muhammad 
Yunus, received cheques of Taka 2,90,76,185 from different organizations, 
individuals and institutions for the flood victims at his ministry office. 

The adviser thanked the individuals and institutions for standing by the 
flood victims, said a ministry press release.

Of the organisations, Incepta Pharmaceuticals Ltd gave Taka 1 crore 25lakh 51 
thousand 219, Shakti Foundation Mirpur Taka 50 lakh, Acorn Infrastructure 
Service Unit-2 Ltd Taka 31 lakh, Community bank Taka 30 lakh,  GMS Composite 
Knitting Ind. Ltd Taka 25 lakh, Bangladesh Chemist and Druggist Samity Taka 
10 lakh , 20 thousand and 500, Swiss Biohygienic Equipment ltd, Tejgaon 
Taka1, 54, 566, Bangladesh Cold storage Association Taka 7 lakh and 
50thousanad, Union capital limited Taka 5 lakh, , Cathay Pacific Airways 
Limited Taka50 thousand and a private citizen Mahmudul Alam khan Taka 5lakh.
