DHAKA, Sept 12, 2024 (BSS) – Adviser to the Ministry of Power, Energy and Mineral Resources Muhammad Fouzul Kabir Khan today directed the authorities concerned to stop use of single use plastic water bottles in meetings, seminars, workshops and others daily activities.
 
He also made another directive to formulate or update recruitment and promotion policies in all organizations and companies under the ministry and departments and sending those to respective ministries/divisions after taking approval from the concerned board.

The directives were given through an office order issued today from the office of the adviser, said an official handout here. 

The handout said that all these directives will be applicable in ministries, departments and all offices/organizations and companies under the Ministry of Power, Energy and Mineral Resources, Ministry of Road Transport and Bridges and Ministry of Railways.
