DHAKA, Sept 12, 2024 (BSS) - Administrator of Dhaka South City Corporation (DSCC) Dr Mohammad Sher Ali toady said the city corporation is working to ensure orderly transportation system for city dwellers. 

"We want to develop systematic transportation for all. We do not want to give priority to any type of bus and Bus Route Rationalization committee is working towards achieving the goal", he said while talking to journalists after a meeting of the committee at Nagar Bhaban here this afternoon, said a press release.

Member Secretary of Bus Route Rationalization Committee and Executive Director of Dhaka Transport Coordinating Authority Neelima Akhtar, Administrator of Dhaka North City Corporation Md Mahmudul Hasan, director of BRTC Colonel Md. Mubarak Hossain Majumdar, Chief Urban Planner of RAJUK Ashraful Islam, Joint Commissioner (traffic) Sufian Ahmed, Deputy Director of BRTA Swadesh Kumar Das, Superintending Engineer of North City Corporation Khandkar Mahbub Alam, and Public Transport Expert Dr. SM Saleh Uddin, among others, were present.
