CHATTOGRAM, Sept 15, 2024 (BSS): Local Government, Rural Development and Cooperatives Adviser A F Hassan Arif today directed all  stake holders including local government, rural development and cooperatives and land affairs departments  to lay special emphasis on  integrated efforts to overcome the post-flood damage. 
 
AF Hasan Arif told   journalists after a discussion meeting with various organizations including the district administration at Chattogram Circuit House on Sunday afternoon. 
 
"If there are no coordinated efforts among all organizations, it will be difficult to overcome the post flood impact. We are emphasizing on repairing flood damaged roads for road connectivity from rural areas to all levels  ,” the adviser  said.
 
Divisional Commissioner Tofail Islam presided over the function, while Deputy Commissioner Farida Khanom, senior officials  of City Corporation, WASA, LGED and other organizations under the Ministry of Local Government attended the function.
 
Later, the advisor exchanged views with the coordinators of the Anti-discrimination Student Movement in Chattogram.
