SAVAR, Sept 17, 2024 (BSS) - Professor Dr A.K.M Rashidul Alam of Environmental Sciences department has been appointed as the new proctor of Jahangirnagar University (JU) on a temporary basis.

An office order signed by JU acting registrar ABM Azizur Rahamn confirmed the appointment today.

He replaced Assistant Prof Md. Rubel of Management Studies department.

Besides, Associate Prof Shamima Nasrin Jolly of Botany department, Associate Prof Muhammad Rezaul Rakib of Geography and Environment department and Assistant Prof Dr. Md. Al-Amin Khan of Mathematics department have been appointed as new assistant proctors of the university.

"They will be serving as the assistant proctor for the next two years from the date of their joining,' according to the office order.
