DHAKA, Sept 18, 2024 (BSS) – Md Golam Rabbani has been appointed as the full secretary of the Law and Justice Division of the law ministry.

His appointment has been made in consultation with the Bangladesh Supreme Court (SC), said a notification today.    

Earlier, Rabbani was in current charge of the secretary of the Law and Justice Division.

In 1994, he joined judiciary as the assistant judge (Munsef). On January 7, 2016, Rabbani was promoted to District and Sessions Judge.

He is the member of 13th batch of Bangladesh Civil Service (BCS).

Earlier, he served as the joint secretary of Law and Justice Division, District and Session Judge in Chattogram and Registrar General of Bangladesh Supreme Court and different other positions.
