DHAKA, Sept 19, 2024 (BSS) - As part of the ongoing drive against illegal firearms and criminals, the members of the Bangladesh Navy in its separate drives last night recovered firearms and detained two persons from Noakhali and Khulna districts. 
 
Members of the force recovered one gun, three three-quarter LG, two LG guns, and 17 rocket parachute flares from Hatia in Noakhali.
 
Members of the Navy along with local police detained two drug peddlers from Khalishpur area of Khulna district last night, said a release of Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) this afternoon.
 
The arrested were identified as Teni alias Langra Teni and Mnajur. 
 
The recovered illegal weapons and the detained drug peddlers were handed over to the concerned police stations.
