DHAKA, Sept 19, 2024 (BSS) – Posts, Telecommunications and Information Technology Adviser Md Nahid Islam today said that long term rehabilitation will be ensured for the families of the martyrs, as well as the students and citizens injured during the July uprising.
 
The adviser said this while meeting with the family members -- of Shaheed Habibur Rahman and Mohammad Monir Hossain, who was shot in the chest in the student-led mass uprising -- in the office room of the Posts and Telecommunications Division here, a press release said.
 
Nahid Islam said the July Martyrs' Memorial Foundation has been established to provide support for the families of martyrs and those injured during the students-led mass uprising.
 
The families will be given necessary support through this foundation, he added.
 
Earlier, the adviser inquired about the family members of Shaheed Habibur Rahman, who was shot to death by policemen in the city's Jatrabari area on August 5.
