DHAKA, Sept 20, 2024 (BSS) - A truck driver was killed in a collision between
a truck and a covered van on Banani-Kakoli road in the capital early this
morning.

The victim was Liton Bhawal alias Liton, 44, hailed from Islampur of Jamalpur
district.

The accident took place around 2.30am in the area.

Severely injured Liton was rushed to Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH)
where the duty doctors declared him dead around 3.30am, DMCH Police Camp In-
charge (Inspector) Md. Farooq confirmed.

The body has been kept at DMCH morgue for autopsy.
