DHAKA, Sept 20, 2024 (BSS)- Bangladeshi foods have drawn huge attention of foreign consumers in the International Halal Food fair held in Kuala Lumpur this month.

Malaysian Ministry of Investment, Trade and Industry and Malaysian External Trade Development Corporation organized the fair on September 17-20.

Noureen Foods Ltd, Olympic Industries Ltd, Pran Foods and K M R Craft and Malaysia-Bangladesh Chamber of Commerce took part in the four-day fair held at International Trade and Exhibition Centre, a release of Bangladesh High Commission in Malaysia said.

Bangladesh High Commissioner to Malaysia Md Shamim Ahsan visited the Bangladeshi stalls on the concluding day and talked about the expansion of market of Bangladeshi products in Kuala Lumpur.

Chairman of Malaysian External Trade Development Corporation Dato’ Sri Reezal Merican Naina Merican, Chief Executive of the corporation Datuk Mohd Mustafa Abdul Aziz, director of the event management Qube Integrated Malaysia Yuhanis Latif were present.
