CHATTOGRAM, Sept 23, 2024 (BSS)- Two separate cases were filed here today for killing an private service holder and a Madrasa student during the anti-discrimination student movement.

Ridwan Ahmed filed a murder case with city’s Panchliash thana against former ministers Dr Hasan Mahmud and Barrister Mohibul Hasan Chowdhury Nafel and 127 others for killing his nephew Sujan, 14.
 
Sujan, 14, son of Belal Hossain of Beramara village under ??Sadar Thana of Noakhali district and a student of Al Jamirul Hayat Madrasah in city’s Chandgaon area was gunned down at city’s Murudpur area on July 18.
 
The second case was filed by Jamal Uddin with Doublemooring thana against 225 people for killing his elder brother Alam, a private service holder on August 5.

The case was filed against 225 persons including former minister Dr Hasan Mahmud and Education Minister Barrister Mohibul Hasan Chowdhury Naufel.
