DHAKA, Sept 25, 2024 (BSS) - Anisul, former law minister, Salman Fazlur Rahman, former private industry affairs adviser to ousted prime minister Sheikh Hasina, Dr Dipu Moni, former social welfare minister and former ICT state minister Zunaid Ahmed Palak were shown arrested in two separate murder cases today.
 
They were shown arrested in Hafizul Shikder and Shohag Mia murder cases, filed with Badda Police Station of the capital.

Metropolitan Magistrate of Dhaka Arafatul Rakib passed the order scrapping the bail pleas filed by the defendants' lawyers as investigation officers of the cases appealed to the court to show them arrested in the cases.
 
Hafizul was killed on July 20 during the anti-discrimination student movement in the city's Merul Badda area.

Sohag Mia was shot dead while on his way to the office in Badda Link Road area on August 5.
