DHAKA, Sept 25, 2024 (BSS) - The government has appointed an administrator to Bangladesh Computer Samity (BCS).  

According to Section 17 of the Trade Organizations Act 2022, commerce ministry’s joint secretary Nahid Afroz has been appointed as the administrator to BCS, said a ministry press release today.
 
The order was issued by the commerce ministry’s (Director General of Trade Organizations) additional secretary Dr Nazneen Kausar Chowdhury.

The release said that administrator would hand over power to the elected committee through holding a fair and impartial election and inform the ministry about it.
