DHAKA, Sept 25, 2024 (BSS) - The Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) has started investigation against Masud Biswas, former chief of the Bangladesh Financial Intelligence Unit (BFIU), following allegation of graft.

“According to the complaints Masud Biswas facilitated irregularities by accepting bribes from top corrupt officials during the previous government,” ACC’s public relations officer (PRO) Akhtarul Islam  told BSS today, confirming the ACC’s decision of initiating the investigation.

He had a silent role in laundering crores of money in connection with 20 major incidents.
