DHAKA, Sept 29, 2024 (BSS) – Police arrested Md Joynal, one of the notorious drug peddlers and also an accused in recent police assault case, from Turag’s Baunia Battala area.

“Acting on a tip off, the law enforcement agency arrested him yesterday after raiding his house,” Officer-in-charge of Turag police station Ahad Khan confirmed the news today.

Police said the arrestee was involved in illegal drug trading, including yaba and ganja (canabis), for a long time in Turag and some other areas in the capital.
 
The OC said Joynal, an accused in eight cases including seven under the Narcotics Control Act’, was produced before the court today.
