DHAKA, Sept 30, 2024 (BSS) - Dhaka Metropolitan Police's (DMP) Traffic Division has filed a total of 788 cases and realized Taka 33,20,250 as fine in a single day across the capital for violating traffic rules.

The cases were filed and fines imposed on September 29, a DMP release said here today.

During the drive, a total of 189 vehicles were impounded and 70 others towed.

The DMP release further said these drives will continue to bring discipline on Dhaka's streets.
