THAKURGAON, Sept 30, 2024 (BSS) - The Chief Judicial Magistrate (CJM) Court here today rejected the bail petition of former water resources minister Ramesh Chandra Sen and sent him to jail in two separate murder cases.

He was produced before the court of Chief Judicial Magistrate Nittyanando Sarker where lawyers of the accused pleaded for bail but the court rejected the plea.

The court also ordered to show him arrested in the two cases.

Earlier on August 17, police arrested Ramesh Chandra Sen in a case filed under Explosives Act.
