DHAKA, Sept 30, 2024 (BSS) - The government has formed a committee led by former caretaker government adviser Abdul Muyeed Chowdhury to determine a rational age limit for entering government jobs.

Public administration ministry’s senior secretary Dr Md Mokhles Ur Rahman made the member secretary of the committee, according to a ministry notification signed by its additional secretary Md Obaidul Rahman. 

In response to the demands of all concerned and the ongoing movement to raise the age limit for entering government jobs, the committee was formed to review the overall issues and make recommendations, said the release.

The committee has been asked to submit report within seven working days. If the committee wants they can co-opt required number of members to the body.
