DHAKA, Oct 6, 2024 (BSS) - The government has promoted two additional secretaries to the post of secretary in two separate ministries.

The Ministry of Public Administration issued two separate gazette notifications, signed by Deputy Secretary Jamila Shabnam here today.

According to the notifications, Farzana Mamtaz, additional secretary of the Agriculture Ministry has been promoted as the secretary of Power Division under the Ministry of Power, Energy and Mineral Resources while Md Rezaul Maksud Jahedi, additional secretary of the public administration ministry has been promoted to the post of secretary of the Youth and Sports Ministry.

The order has been issued in public interest, it said.
