DHAKA, Oct 6, 2024 (BSS) – A team of Detective Branch (DB) of Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) today arrested former senior secretary of the security division of the home ministry Aminul Islam Khan from the city’s Banani area.

Deputy Commissioner (Public Relations Division) of the DMP Muhammad Talebur Rahman told BSS that a DB team arrested Aminul Islam Khan from Banani area this afternoon.

He said several cases were filed against him.

The former security division senior secretary went on retirement on March 31, 2023.
