DHAKA, Oct 07, 2024 (BSS)- Leaders and activists of Bangladesh Jatiyatabadi Chatra Dal Dhaka University (DU) unit today brought out a silent procession on DU campus marking the 5th death anniversary of Abrar Fahad who was beaten to death by a group of Chhatra League leaders in 2019.

The procession, led by JCD DU unit president Ganesh Chandra Roy and general secretary Nahiduzzaman Shipon, commenced from the premises of central Shaheed Minar and culminated at Raju Memorial on DU campus after marching various thoroughfares.

One minute silence was also observed remembering the memories of Abrar Fahad following the procession, carrying banners and festoons demanding trial of the persons involved with the killing.
    
Abrar was a second-year student of electrical and electronic engineering department of Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET).
