KHULNA, Oct 15, 2024 (BSS) - Jatiyatabadi Jubo Dal President Abdul Monayem Munna has said BNP won't do the same thing what the ousted Awami League (AL) committed for the last 15 years in the country.

Criticizing fascist activities like inhuman torture especially on BNP, Jubo Dal and Chhatra Dal men during fallen AL government regime, he said BNP would not commit such type of heinous crimes.

Strict organizational measures are being taken against those violating the discipline of the party, the Jubo Dal chief said.

He made the remarks in a joint meeting of city and district units of Jubo Dal, Swechchasebak Dal and Chhatra Dal at Khulna Press Club here yesterday evening.

Munna said if elected, BNP will form a national government under the leadership of Tarique Rahman.

He said the people are breathing a sigh of relief in the free Bangladesh following the student-people mass uprising.

But conspiracy against BNP is still going on, he said, urging people to remain alert against the conspiracy.

Chhatra Dal General Secretary Nasir Uddin Nasir, Organizing Secretary Md Amanullah Aman, Jubo Dal Joint Secretary Md Billal Hossain, Swechchasebak Dal Joint Secretary S M Kabir, Swechchasebak Dal district unit General Secretary Ataur Rahman Runu, among others, addressed the meeting with Swechchasebak Dal Organizing Secretary Md Nazmul Hasan in the chair

Later, the Jubo Dal president visited the Khulna Press Club.
