DHAKA, Oct 15, 2024 (BSS) – The Cumilla Education Board recorded a pass rate of 71.15 percent in this year’s HSC examinations.
A total of 112,312 students, including 48,065 male and 64,247 female, appeared in the HSC exams under the board while a total of 79,905 students have successfully passed the exam, according to the HSC results published here today.
Of the total successful candidates, 7,922 including 2,968 male and 4,954 female, students got the highest grade point average-5 (GPA-5).
The pass rate in the other education boards is 93.40 percent in Madrasa board, 88.09 percent in technical board, 85.39 percent in Sylhet board, 81.85 percent in Barishal board, 81.24 percent in Rajshahi board, 79.21 percent in Dhaka board, 77.56 percent in Dinajpur board, 70.32 percent in Chattogram board, 64.29 percent in Jashore board and 63.22 percent in Mymensingh board.
On an average, 77.78 percent of the examinees passed the HSC and equivalent examinations held under 11 education boards of the country this year with 1,45,911 candidates getting GPA-5 (maximum grade point average) while the pass rate of the HSC exams in nine general boards is 75.56 percent.
Out of 13, 31,058 examinees, 10,35,309 students have been successful in the HSC and equivalent examinations.
