RAJSHAHI, Oct 15, 2024 (BSS) - The Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education, Rajshahi has attained 81.24 percent pass rate in Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) examinations.
 
A total of 24,902 students, including 14,597 girls, got GPA-5 and the female students did better compared to the male students in terms of both pass rate and GPA.  

Chairman of the board Professor Waliul Alam published the result through a press briefing at the board office conference hall here today.
 
He said a total of 1,37,184 students appeared in the examinations and 1,11,448 of them came out successful showing a 81.24 percent pass rate and figuring 24,0902 GPA-5.

In the previous year, 1,40,11 students had appeared in the HSC examination and 1,08,580 of them came out successful with the pass percentage of 78.46. A total of 11,258 students got GPA-5.

Prof Alam said 35 colleges attained hundred percent pass, while the number of hundred percent failed colleges is 12.

He said the students from 741 institutions in all eight districts took part in the examinations in 203 centres.
