DHAKA, Oct 16, 2024 (BSS) - Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) today forecasted that rain or thundershowers accompanied by gusty wind is likely to occur at one or two places in Khulna Division of the country for the next 24 hours till 9 am tomorrow.

"Rain or thundershowers accompanied by temporary gusty wind is likely to occur at one or two places in Khulna division," it said.

Day and night temperature may remain nearly unchanged over the country.

Country's maximum temperature on Tuesday was recorded 35.0 degrees Celsius jointly at Chattogram, Khulna and Barishal while the minimum temperature today was 23.3 degrees Celsius at Tetulia.

The sun sets at 05:31 PM today and rises at 05:57 AM tomorrow in the capital.
