DHAKA, Oct 16, 2024 (BSS) - The newly appointed chairman of the International Crimes Tribunal (ICT) Justice Md Golam Mortuza Mozumder, two members Justice Md Shofiul Alam Mahmood and retired District and Sessions Judge Md Mohitul Haq Enam Chowdhury were accorded a formal felicitation at the tribunal today.

They were given reception at ICT temporary courtroom on behalf of the attorney general's office, Supreme Court Bar Association and ICT prosecution wing.

Attorney General Md Asaduzzaman, ICT Chief Prosecutor Mohammad Tajul Islam and Supreme Court Bar Association President AM Mahbub Uddin Khokon spoke on the occasion, narrating the lives and illustrious careers of the three ICT judges.

ICT chairman Justice Md Golam Mortuza Mozumder and his two colleague judges thanked all concerned for the felicitation. 

The government on October 14 reconstituted the International Crimes Tribunal with the appointment of three judges.
