DHAKA, Oct 17, 2024 (BSS)- The newly appointed non-resident Belarus ambassador to Bangladesh Mikhail Kasko paid a courtesy call on Foreign Affairs Adviser Md Touhid Hossain at the foreign ministry here today.
The envoy conveyed greetings from Belarus’ foreign minister and expressed his commitment to deepening bilateral relations between the two nations, a foreign ministry’s press release said.
The Foreign Adviser warmly welcomed the ambassador and expressed satisfaction with the current state of Bangladesh-Belarus cooperation.
During the meeting, the two sides discussed ways to further strengthen bilateral ties, focusing on key areas such as trade, food security, and the supply of fertilizers.
Both the sides agreed to enhance cooperation under the framework of the Bangladesh-Belarus Joint Commission on Trade and Economic Cooperation.
