DHAKA, Oct 17, 2024 (BSS) – Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) Senior Joint Secretary General Advocate Ruhul Kabir Rizvi Ahmed today said the trial of the accomplices of Awami fascism will be held on the soil of Bangladesh.
 
“The allies of Awami dictatorship have been hiding and roaming in disguise in the new Bangladesh which has been achieved in exchange of  the blood of martyrs,” Rizvi told a pretest rally at Morjal Bus Stand of Narsingdi.
 
‘Amra BNP Paribar’ organized the programme protesting the killing of Morjal union Chatra Dal activist Junaed Al Habib who was also a coordinator during the Anti-Discrimination Student Movement.
  
"The interim government was established on  the blood of the martyrs and  If the killers are not prosecuted, it will be nothing but betraying  with  them who made supreme sacrifices ,” said Rizvi.
 
Rizvi also said thousands of cases have been filed against BNP leaders and activists during the previous fascist regime, and they have been attacked. The victims  will be properly evaluated in future, he added.
 
He urged the  government to break the Awami Syndicate and control commodity prices saying, 'If  it ( government)  shows any slowness and laxity in fulfilling the important responsibilities assigned to them, it will be nothing but undermining the spirit of second freedom came through earth-shaking revolution on August 5.”
 
Rizvi expressed deep condolences to Junaed’s family members and said the BNP will stand by them and work to ensure the highest punishment to the killers of Junaid.
 
Later, on behalf of BNP Acting Chairman Tarique Rahman, he handed over  financial aid  to Shahid Junaid's family .
