DHAKA, Oct 19, 2024 (BSS) - The joint forces arrested four people and recovered various local weapons in the city's Colony area adjacent to Shaheed Intellectuals Graveyard under Darus Salam Police Station around 4.15 am on Friday. 

On a tip-off, a team of the joint forces conducted a raid in the area and arrested them while they were preparing to commit robbery in the area, according to a DMP press release issued here today.

The team also recovered various local weapons including knives, machetes and other equipment from their possessions.
 
The arrested persons are Md Sajjad Hossain, 28, Md Sabuj Mia, 20, Md Kawser, 26, and Md Osman Gani, 25.

A case was filed in this connection with Darus Salam Police Station.
