The “Project Nisa”, launched by BDApps platform, has aimed to empower female madrasa students through technological skills and help them to become independent innovators in the tech industry, said a press release today.
As part of this project, a workshop was recently held at a women’s madrasa in Mongla of Bagerhat district where over 50 students of grades 9-10 participated.
They received training in app development, digital literacy, and basic computer skills, opening up new doors for them to become skilled tech creators.
Following the training, many students have already developed their first light apps on the BDApps platform and have begun earning income.
