DHAKA, Oct 28, 2024 (BSS)- Nepalese Ambassador to Bangladesh Ghanshyam Bhandari today called on Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir at BNP Chairperson’s Gulshan political office in the capital.

During the meeting, they discussed issues relating to strengthening relations between Bangladesh and Nepal, human rights, good governance, bilateral and regional interests.

After the meeting, BNP Standing Committee Member Amir Khasru Mahmud Chowdhury told reporters that the meeting discussed making South Asian Association for Regional Cooperation (SAARC) as an effective regional organization.

Nepal’s Deputy Chief of Mission Lalita Silwal and BNP International Relations Affairs Committee Member Shama Obaid were present.
