DHAKA, Nov 3, 2024 (BSS) – The Detective Branch (DB) of police has asked all to be alert as some people using the names of its chief Rezaul Karim Mallick and his family members have been trying to take undue privileges.

“If any individual fells victim of such illegal influence, they are requested to inform the deputy commissioner (media and public relations) and Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) or hand the people to nearby police stations,” said a police statement.

The statement added that DB has come to know that some people have been trying to establish illegal supremacy after issuing threats to others by using the name of the DB chief and his family members and close relatives and people of his localities.
