DHAKA, Nov 06, 2024 (BSS) - University Grants Commission (UGC) Chairman Prof. Dr. S.M.A. Faiz today called upon the university authorities in the country to use online platform Apostille for attestation of educational certificates of the students, who intend to go abroad for higher education and jobs.

“If attestation of certificate is done through Apostille platform, it will save time of the students and lessen their sufferings, labor and money as well,” he said while addressing a workshop at the UGC auditorium in the capital’s Agargaon as the chief guest.
 
UGC Members Prof Dr. Mohammad Tanzimuddin Khan and Prof Dr. M Anwar Hossen, Additional Secretary of Foreign Ministry Syed Masud Mahmood Khandaker and UGC Secretary Dr. Mohammad Fakhrul Islam spoke as special guests.
 
Director of UGC Md Omar Faruque chaired the workshop while Director General (DG) of Foreign Ministry Dr. Shah Mohammad Tanvir Mansur, among others, spoke at the function.
