DHAKA, Nov 12, 2024 (BSS) - Constitution Reform Commission (CRC) today held its second views exchange meeting with eminent citizens at the cabinet room of the Jatiya Sangsad Bhaban here.

The CRC today held meeting with distinguished citizens, including Professor Tofayel Ahmed, Professor Mahbub Ullah, Baitul Mukarram Khatib Mufti Abdul Malek, Khushi Kabir, Subrata Chowdhury, Musa Al Hafiz, Shahin Anam, Dr Shahidul Alam and Mufti Sakhawat Hossain Raji, an official release said here today.

Presided over by CRC chairman Professor Ali Riaz, its members Prof Sumaiya Khayer, Barrister Imran Siddique, Prof Muhammad Ekramul Haque, Dr Sharif Bhuiyan, Barrister M Moin Alam Ferozi and Firoz Ahmed attended the meeting.

Earlier on November 11, a total of 31 representatives from 16 different rights groups joined the maiden view-exchange meeting of the commission.

The CRC is scheduled to hold similar meetings with different personalities and organizations in the next few days.
