DHAKA, Nov 15, 2024 (BSS)- Dhaka Reporters’ Unity (DRU) today organized a free eye camp for providing treatment to its members and families.

The camp was held at Nasrul Hamid Auditorium of DRU in collaboration with Sandhani National Eye Donation Association.

A large number of members and family members received medical services. 

DRU President Syed Shukur Ali Shuvo, General Secretary Mohi Uddin, Chief Consultant of Sandhani Eye Hospital Professor Dr Malik Iftekhar Siddique and DRU Welfare Secretary Tanvir Ahmed spoke on the opening ceremony of the camp.

DRU leaders extended their heartfelt thanks to Swandhani for their support for providing eye care services free of cost to DRU members. 

A team led by Md Saiful Islam Chowdhury, Coordinator of Sandhani National Eye Donation Association, conducted medical services. 

Among others, DRU Joint Secretary Md Mizanur Rahman (Mizan Rahman), Finance Secretary Md Zakir Hussain, Organizing Secretary Khalid Saifullah, Office Secretary Rafiq Rafi, Women's Affairs Secretary Mahmuda Dolly, Sports Secretary Md Mahbubur Rahman, Executive Members Rafiq Mridha, Delwar Hossain Mohin and Md Shariful Islam were present.
