DHAKA, Nov 15, 2024 (BSS) - Vice-chancellor of National University Professor 
Dr ASM Amanullah today handed over a cheque to the family of martyred Abu 
Sayed.

ASM Amanullah visited the home of Shaheed Abu Sayed, a student of Begum 
Rokeya University in Rangpur, who was killed in police firing during quota 
reform movement. 

The VC offered prayers at the grave of Abu Sayed and prayed for eternal peace 
of departed soul and conveyed deep sympathy to bereaved family members. 

He said National University will take step to make a permanent memorial 
plaque of Abu Sayed and Mukhdo on its campus.

Beside, all colleges under the National University will arrange Abu Sayed and 
Mukhdo trust scholarship in the country, he added.
