DHAKA, Nov 17, 2024 (BSS) - Police in an overnight drive arrested Desh TV Managing Director (MD) Arif Hasan from the city's Airport area in an attempted murder case.

Muhammad Talebur Rahman, deputy commissioner of media and public relations of Detective Branch of Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) confirmed, saying Arif was taken to DB office at Minto Road.

The attempted murder case against Arif was filed with Airport Police Station on charge of unleashing attack on the recent student-people movement on July 19.
