DHAKA, Nov 17, 2024 (BSS)-Disaster Management and Relief Adviser Faruk-E -Azam, Bir Protik, today received cheques amounting to TK 19, 50,000 from different institutions, individuals and organizations for recent devastating flood affected people.

The adviser received the cheques at his office at Relief and Disaster Ministry at Bangladesh Secretariat on behalf of the Chief Adviser (CA) to the interim government Prof. Dr Muhammad Yunus.

Among the organizations, institutions and individuals, Chattogram University Alumni Association was also included in the relief fund . 

He also thanked the persons, institutions and organizations for standing beside the flood affected people.

It may be stated that the Disaster Management and Relief Adviser so far received a total of 234 cheques, pay orders or bank drafts amounting to TK  97 crore, 48 lakh nine thousand and 203 on behalf of the Relief and Welfare Fund of the Chief Adviser.
