DHAKA, Nov 17, 2024 (BSS) - Two brothers were killed as their motorcycle hit 
a roadside railing on the Dhaka-Mawa highway at Dakshin Keraniganj in the 
city today.

The deceased were Shakib Hossain, 25, and Shakil Hossain, sons of Md Abul 
Hossain, residents of Abhaynagar upazila in Jashore district. 

Sub-Inspector (SI) Shafiul Islam of Hasara Highway Thana said the accident 
occurred at around 10:30 am in front of Jhilmil Residential project in 
Keraniganj as the rider lost his control over the vehicle, leaving the duo 
dead on the spot. 

Shakib and Shakil were heading towards the capital riding on the motorcycle, 
he said. 

Police recovered the bodies and sent those to Sir Salimullah Medical College 
Hospital for autopsy and a case was filed in this regards, the SI added.
