DHAKA, Nov 17, 2024 - (BSS) – The Bangladesh Army-led Joint-forces today arrested 15 miscreants while conducting a joint raid in Ganaktuli City Colony area of Hazaribagh here today, according to a release of Inter-Services Public Relation Directorate (ISPR).

Based on secret information, the joint-forces led by 46-infantry brigades of the Bangladesh Army also recovered different types of sharp weapons, contraband drugs, mobile phone sets, Subscriber Identification Module (SIM) cards and Taka in cash from their possessions, it said.

The arrestees along with the seized weapons and goods were handed over to the police and representatives of the Department of Narcotics Control (DNC).

This special drive is being carried out by the Bangladesh Army as a part of regular patrolling and operations in different places under 'In Aid to Civil Power' to implement the directives of the Interim Government, the release added.
